The session lasts approximately 1 hour and the lower or upper limb, including the face, is treated.  

As part of a well-being massage, the massage can be performed only once with the effect of giving lightness to the body, the start of elimination and great relaxation.

In the therapeutic context, the treatment will be given once a week at regular intervals, gradually spacing out the interventions to regenerate all of the lymphatic tissue, in order to achieve real recovery.

This approach can also be used in addition to an Osteopathy and Somatopathy treatment, to drain toxins and help the body to further stimulate the beneficial effects of the session such as blood circulation, water retention, the feeling of heavy legs, digestion and more, for a rapid and deeper recovery.

Lymphatic drainage of the face alone lasts 30 minutes and is useful for a moment of relaxation and/or in the case of various associated treatments.

Drainage is carried out by a massage in contact with the skin, the touch is very gentle and slow to reach and stimulate the lymph which is located on the surface of the epidermis, the touch is done with caution.

The DLM is a very relaxing massage and promotes deep relaxation throughout the session through precise and slow movements. The patient lies comfortably and covered with a warm sheet.
The practitioner drains a few major lymph nodes in the neck, abdomen and groin before addressing the chosen body area more generally.
